Lochcarron from the south side of the loch

Lochcarron is a village of about 900 residents situated on the shores of Loch Carron in Wester Ross, on the west coast about 65 miles from Inverness.

On Main Street, looking across Loch Carron, there is a bistro, a cafe, and a pub. Two shops offer a good range of products, among them fresh, locally sourced items. There are two places to buy fuel and three garages offering vehicle repair.

Any visiting golfers are welcome at the nine-hole golf course at the east end of the village.
